When it comes to conducting legal research, I am an expert. I have access to Lexis Nexis and a natural ability to grasp complex legal issues. I use a research method that is proven to locate accurate and up-to-date information quickly. I understand how to determine which cases to cite to, how to summarize a case, using direct quotes and word for word text appropriately, and how to follow the logic through a line of cases. I can provide you with an update on the state of any law, create a memorandum summarizing a group of laws, or find you the cases that you need to support your argument or refute the opposing party’s argument.
Rates & Fees
My hourly rate for legal research is $16 with a minimum charge of $16. I can generally find the answer to any one part legal question and prepare a memorandum within 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If you request a flat rate, as opposed to an hourly rate, it will be based on this formula. Whether you are billed on a hourly or flat rate basis is completely up to you.
